At EtonHouse, we grow as a family- find out how our boutique schools nurture your child for success

Trusted by parents for over 27 years, EtonHouse International School is an IB World School that provides high-quality international education to children from 18 months to 18 years, offering the IBPYP, IGCSE, and IB Diploma learning pathway aligned with UK National Curricula. EtonHouse has nurtured several generations of students, many of them graduated from top universities and pursuing successful careers. The schools are known for providing an outstanding bilingual education in a close-knit family-oriented environment.
EtonHouse prides itself as an academically inclusive school where every child is respected, and their uniqueness celebrated. Because of its boutique campuses and rich student-teacher ratio, each child receives a highly personalised education that helps them grow and flourish in their own right. Every teacher knows every child, and this strong relationship provides children with a safe, nurturing learning environment.
EtonHouse believes that children should take ownership of their learning. When children are engaged, learning happens naturally and spontaneously. Open-mindedness, critical thinking skills, and a life-long love for learning are just as essential as acquiring knowledge. This thinking was the motivation behind its inquiry-based pedagogy that revolutionised Singapore's education scene since the 1990s.

Child-centred inquiry-based approach
Children are born with an innate desire to explore and be curious. EtonHouse uses an inquiry-based approach responsive to children's interests and encourages children to use their innate ability to think creatively, investigate and learn by fully engaging in the process.
The educators are not mere transmitters of knowledge but act as facilitators, guides and mentors of the children's learning process. Educators don't tell children what and how to think but support them to be independent thinkers and innovators by creating opportunities for students to pose questions, undertake projects, and find answers and solutions through research and experiments.
Unlike traditional classroom learning, the concept-based inquiry approach is a powerful way for children to make sense of the world around them. The transdisciplinary nature of learning makes it richer, allows learners to apply and transfer knowledge and get a sound grasp of concepts. It also promotes more complex collaboration and communication, encourages higher-order thinking skills and bolsters their confidence to use their knowledge and skills. This form of learning continues even in secondary and high school by incorporating project-based learning into the curricula.

Established Bilingual Programmes
Informed by research and best practices, language at EtonHouse is not 'taught' but naturally acquired through meaningful and contextual experiences so that students can identify and engage with the learning. The small class sizes allow teachers to provide a differentiated learning environment where children can learn at their own pace, maximising their potential and building confidence at the same time.

Nurturing the whole child
At EtonHouse, the goal is to develop the whole child by providing students with a holistic education beyond preparing them for the exams. Students have numerous opportunities to pursue different interests, build character and lifelong skills by participating in a myriad of Extra-Curricular Activities (ECAs), becoming student leaders, volunteering for school events or initiating fund-raising projects.
EtonHouse also invests in and implements practices that nurture students' overall well-being. They have partnered with the US-based Contentment Foundation to roll out a scientifically evidenced well-being curriculum in their schools. This programme provides valuable tools and lessons to help teachers and students to cultivate sustainable well-being, develop positive behaviours, attitudes and resilience for life and promote a safe, loving and healthy school climate.
