What: As part of World’s 50 Best Bars’ own series of Signature Sessions, Gokan is hosting previous winners of Altos Bartenders’ Bartender Award. The tequila brand has put its name behind this award, whose winners are chosen by their peers across the world. On the night, Lynette Marrero – co-creator of the blitz bartending competition Speed Rack – is joined by Argentinian Tato Giovannoni (Florería Atlántico of Buenos Aires), GN Chan (Double Chicken Please, NYC) and Uno Jang (Jigger & Pony, Singapore) as they host one of the first parties of the week.

What: Hong Kong’s own home of mixology is hosting a takeover featuring Red Frog from Lisbon, Portugal, and Le Syndicat from Paris. The former is bringing in culinary-inspired concoctions focusing on flavours – in Lisbon, the bar has created drinks such as the Saffron Plum + Rolls Royce, which combines Adamus organic dry gin, Portuguese muscat wine, saffron and plum.
