This weekend, drinking in Hong Kong comes with a view – several of them, in fact. The Tong Chong Street Market Beer Festival returns not only to Taikoo Place, but also to Mhp by Tong Chong Street Market – which boasts visuals of Mount Parker, Victoria Harbour and more. Peridot recently opened atop the Henderson as part of Summit 38, offering yet more striking views of the harbour from Central. However, be sure to kick off your weekend with Asia’s 50 Best Bar rising star Workshop14, as its team takes over Lobster Bar.

Lobster Bar welcomes one of Hanoi’s most exciting cocktail concepts this Thursday, as Workshop14 brings its inventive use of Vietnamese ingredients to Hong Kong. The bar, named this year’s Campari One To Watch at Asia’s 50 Best Bars, is known for drinks like the Deacon Frealicious – a smoky, citrus-bright blend of The Deacon whisky and Lucano bitters clarified with lemon cordial. For its Hong Kong stint, Workshop14 will present five cocktails, among them Is One Un Oeuf, a playful mix of Vietnamese egg coffee and espresso martini topped with an egg-yolk custard foam.
