Where to enjoy a next-level Christmas dinner in Hong Kong this festive season
For Christmas dining with flair, the city’s top restaurants Belon and The Magistracy, and hotels like Regent Hong Kong and Island Shangri-la, are laying on some delicious festive feasts

Cooking a fantastic Christmas spread is never easy in Hong Kong when few of us have ovens suitable for toasting bread, let alone cooking an entire turkey. Frankly, that’s all the excuse we need to let someone else manage the Yuletide kitchen chaos.
This year, put away your cookbooks and delusions of grandeur and let the professionals handle the turkey and all the trimmings. Allow the city’s finest restaurants to do the heavy lifting, serving seasonal menus to satisfy every palate, while you relax and enjoy the holidays.
Belon

For Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Güçlüer has created several special à la carte dishes, including a salade demi-deuille with black winter truffle (HK$388) and a Mont Blanc (HK$198). However, the star of the show is undoubtedly her roast Christmas goose with red cabbage and quatre-épices (HK$628).
“In Germany, goose on Christmas Eve is almost expected, and it’s a flavour that immediately brings me home,” Güçlüer tells us. “What excites me is taking something Hong Kong already loves and shaping it with my own traditions.”
