Your 2025 guide to the best Christmas cocktails in Hong Kong
Hong Kong’s bars are upping the ante with their festive cocktails, from exciting takes on mulled wine and eggnog, to gin ‘prescriptions’ and a cheesy pisco sour

As Christmas draws near and work winds down before 2026, it’s the perfect time to sample an array of limited-time Yuletide cocktails from some of the city’s best and newest bars alike. From mulled wine variations (including ones served cold!) to creamy eggnog twists and beyond, here are six of Hong Kong’s curated Christmas cocktail menus to check out before the end of December.
The Aubrey

Following the launch of its Japanese-inspired Shibumi menu this year, this upscale izakaya and cocktail bar concept at the Mandarin Oriental brings its combination of Japanese flavours and modern mixology to Christmas cocktails. The Hot Wine combines a malted “mugi” shochu with cherry ratafia and spices in a unique take on mulled wine. For those looking for something with texture, the Matcha Egg Nogg adds matcha and chocolate to the wintertime favourite. Rounding out the trio is the effervescent Yukima, combining rice shochu with The Aubrey’s own champagne.

Avoca

On Tsim Sha Tsui’s Hart Avenue, Avoca is giving holiday cocktails a local twist with the Haw Haw Haw and Apple Pie. The former plays on Santa’s hearty guffaw while featuring haw flakes and osmanthus sweets, two local childhood confections brought to life with Iichiko Saiten Shochu, raspberry cordial, hawthorn, sherry wine and lemon. The Apple Pie evokes the warm autumnal and wintry pastry while also adding notes from a local winter warmer, Horlicks. The drink combines Matsusalem 15-year-old spiced rum, apple, Cantonese and Christmas spices, tangerine peel and Horlicks cream, to be served hot or cold.

C108

Embrace all sides of Christmas by heading to C108 to experience its Christmas cocktail menu, Santa’s Naughty List. For the colder weather, the Adult Grape Juice and Irish Man are served hot – the former combines cognac, red wine, “Christmas spices” and citrus as a mulled wine variation, while the latter focuses on Parmesan-infused bourbon whiskey, truffle cream and coffee, and can be served sans alcohol.
