There was no food fight when Lam Chun-fai launched the first English-language manual on the martial art Hung Kuen. Instead, the launch was followed by a charity dinner for the International Guoshu Association for its research and documentation of China's martial arts heritage.

Guests at "Hung's Feast - An Evening with Kung Fu Culture in Hong Kong" included Financial Secretary John Tsang Chun-wah, businessman Ian Fok Chun-wan, barrister Brandon Chau Kwok-fung and actor Tsui Siu-ming.

The author of Hung Kuen Fundamentals: Gung Gee Fok Fu Kuen is the eldest son of late Hung Kuen master Lam Cho, and is the highest Hung Kuen authority in the world today.

"Peace and All That Jazz" will be Howard McCrary's first headline show in Hong Kong, with a 22-piece jazz orchestra and top locally based musicians Eugene Pao, Ted Lo and Sylvain Gagnon. The orchestra will be conducted by music director Justin Siu.
