Fret not if you did not manage to secure HK$30 (US$3.80) tickets for this year’s Hong Kong Cinema Day, as there are still plenty of events in the city to fill up your weekend itinerary.

From time-limited menus of sweet treats to fun fitness events with some fluffy company, no weekend in Hong Kong will be dull.

Here are five things to do in Hong Kong this weekend.

1. Dog Adoption Day: Puppy Yoga

On Saturday, April 25, The Hive Sai Kung will host a fitness session alongside animal welfare organisation Sai Kung Stray Friends, inviting participants to practise their downward dog pose while enjoying the adorable company of puppies.

This “Dog Adoption Day: Puppy Yoga” programme integrates an afternoon dog adoption session from 1pm to 4pm and a guided yoga session from 4pm to 5pm. All proceeds from the event will go towards helping more puppies find their perfect families.

General admission is free for those who would only like to attend the dog adoption session, while the guided yoga activity is priced at HK$50 per person. Registration is needed for both sessions, and can be accessed here.
