Normally, tea is for two, but for Lancôme, tea is for 30. That's how many local celebrities the luxury beauty brand invited to tea at Sevva restaurant in Prince's Building in Central to celebrate the launch of its Absolue line of products. Among the guests were models Balia Chan and Janel Ma, singers Candy Lo and Amanda Lee, and girls-about-town Jacqueline Chong Si-man and Ankie Beilke, who pulled out a tube of Lancôme lip gloss before posing for a photo.

K-pop sensation Choi Siwon, lead singer of South Korean boy band Super Junior, was recently in town for promotional work for the mobile messaging app LINE, a competitor to WhatsApp. An advertisement made for local television featuring the singer-actor using the app was screened at an event.

After chatting with guests, he posed for photos with a cute stuffed toy based on one of the characters created for LINE.

Choi stayed in town for a couple more days and was later seen attending the 32nd Hong Kong Film awards in a dashing black tuxedo, causing his female fans to swoon.
