The Asia Society hosted an art-gala benefit dinner in Admiralty, honouring Asian artists Lee Ufan, Nyoman Masriadi and Zeng Fanzhi. Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, Indonesian collector Deddy Kusuma and Betty Kadoorie were among the guests, who were treated to a performance and installation piece by artist Mariko Mori. The dinner was the perfect way to kick off the launch of the first Art Basel in Hong Kong.

A luxury fashion store's opening is often a sedate affair, but the launch of Versace's Pacific Place venue was something else. There was a horde of screaming teenaged girls eager to see the special guest, Korean pop star G-Dragon. Also in attendance were Canto-pop diva Joey Yung Cho-yee, who rocked a metallic dress, and actress Janice Man Wing-shan, who wore a hot pink dress with spike-studded heels. Needless to say, they wore Versace.

There's a new place in town that helps sustain your youthful good looks: the Vegas Aso Spa in Lan Kwai Fong. At its launch, models Jessica Cambensy and Eunice Chan were there to help Karen Wong and Janey Chau - directors of the Vegas 360 beauty group - in the ribbon cutting, along with the statuesque Katherine R, a runner-up in Miss Jewellery Hong Kong 2010.
