1. Nine Treasures – Seeking The Absolute Tour 2025
Catch the Nine Treasures, an Inner Mongolian folk metal band, on their nationwide tour in Guangzhou and Shenzhen at the end of October.

Led by vocalist/guitarist Askhan, their unique blending of Mongolian throat singing, traditional music and metal is sure to wow attendees.
When: October 29 (Guangzhou), October 31 (Shenzhen)
Venues: Tai Space Livehouse in Guangzhou, SoFun Live in Shenzhen

2. Staatskapelle Dresden

At nearly 500 years old, the Staatskapelle Dresden is one of the world’s oldest orchestras.
The ensemble’s latest China tour includes one stop in Guangzhou, where chief conductor Daniele Gatti will conduct two programmes at the Xinghai Concert Hall.
On the second night, star pianist Bruce Liu will be the soloist in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23.
When: November 8-9

3. Dianne Reeves at Guangzhou Jazz Festival 2025

This six-month festival, which began in May, continues in November with the Grammy Award-winning Dianne Reeves at the Xinghai Concert Hall.
She will be performing in Guangzhou one day after her appearance at the Freespace Jazz Fest 2025 in Hong Kong.
When: November 11
Venue: Xinghai Concert Hall, Guangzhou

4. Jacob Collier at Guangzhou Jazz Festival 2025
Also performing at the Guangzhou Jazz Festival is the young British musician Jacob Collier.

While some of the love he receives in Greater China is because he has a Chinese grandmother, Collier is an all-rounder with an electric onstage presence.

5. The Tiger Who Came to Tea

The English-language West End production has announced two dates in Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
