It may be October, but the days in Hong Kong are still swelteringly hot, making them perfect for chilling with a glass of iced coffee.
This month, new places to get your caffeine fix are mostly congregated in the heart of Hong Kong Island, including the opening of a famous Thai doughnut shop.

1. OneThird Coffee
Following a short hiatus after closing its Yuen Long location, OneThird Coffee is back, this time in Central.
The drinks menu at the cosy new shop features house brews and beans, the latter of which are also available for purchase on its online store.
The most popular orders include a coffee and cola concoction as well as a lemon tea mix.

2. Just A Name
This pet-friendly cafe, with its adorable logo of a dog, has opened on a busy corner in Causeway Bay.

In addition to coffee, it also offers pastries and other sweet treats, with the fresh pound cake already a fan favourite.

3. Drop by Dough
Hong Kong is now home to Bangkok’s famous doughnut shop, Drop by Dough, most known for its handcrafted, trans fat-free doughnuts made with rice bran oil.

The store offers a diverse range of flavours, such as red bean and salted cinnamon.
The menu also features coffee and matcha drinks, as well as other breakfast staples.

4. NOC Coffee Co
Marking the brand’s 10th anniversary, NOC has opened yet another location, this time on Des Voeux Road Central.

The new shop follows its trademark tranquil design, continuing its “Live Slow” philosophy in the bustling city.
The store brings this ethos to life through unique design elements and an exclusive menu, offering a complete experience revolving around coffee, food and ambience.

5. Nodi x Moleskine
This new cafe spot features a collaboration between popular coffee chain Nodi and stationery brand Moleskine, offering both handcrafted coffee and luxury leather notebooks in one place.
