The Year of the Horse 2026 is just around the corner, and for many, this means it is time to work hard before enjoying a break.

Coffee shops are good for relaxing and recharging, but also make for great places to get work done.

Take note of these new cafes across Hong Kong so you can drop in the next time you find yourself close by.

The original EN Coffee on Shin Hing Street in Sheung Wan enjoys a bit of a cult following, and passers-by will often see the steps outside crowded with dozens of coffee drinkers.

Thankfully, it has just opened a sleeker second shop in Causeway Bay. The Leighton Road branch is open earlier, from 8am, and serves a selection of pastries, yogurt bowls and egg sandwiches alongside single-origin coffees, which are each marked with details of the coffee bean’s provenance and tasting notes.

This coffee brand, whose mantra is “better coffee, better life”, has just opened its third outlet, in To Kwa Wan. The new location is colourful and cosy, with mismatched furniture and bits of greenery to make guests feel like they are in someone’s living room.
