WHERE THE LANDMARK ATRIUM
 
HAPPENINGS: Dior celebrated the launch of its new Dior Addict Lipstick collection with a vibrant cocktail party aptly titled "Shine, don't be shy!" Made from a new, versatile formula, the futuristic and glossy colours have volume-boosting and moisturising properties, and are perfect for autumn.
The party was jam-packed with celebrities, including officiating guest Gaile Lok. Other guests included Tisha Law, Jeannie Chan and Edwin Ing, who enthusiastically struck poses at the giant state-of-the-art photo area. Stylists were on hand at make-up counters to help guests choose and apply their desired lip colour. The party kicked off with a welcome speech from Olivier Dubos, Christian Dior Parfums regional managing director, and a preview screening of the new Dior Addict Lipstick commercial starring the glamorous Jennifer Lawrence.

What are your tips for making lipstick last longer?

[If] you're wearing red, you can put a little powder on it - that makes it last a bit longer. If you're doing a long dinner, then stick with colours that are sheer or close to your natural lip colour. 
What are your top picks for lipstick colour this autumn?
I'm going to go for a sheer pink, very light and close to nude. I think it's all about earth tones right now and I would focus more on contouring the face and keeping the lips very clean.
What did you do for your birthday?
I went to Bali and surfed for a week. A lot of my friends from America made the effort to come, so it was one of my best birthdays ever.
What would we find in your make-up bag?
Lipstick, because I use my lipstick as blush. I apply a really light pink on my lips, pat it down with my fingers and then apply it on my cheeks.
