Schiaparelli, Robert Wun, Jean Paul Gaultier and more paired their extravagant haute couture looks with eye-catching make-up and hair that almost stole the show

It’s not only the fashion that caught the eye at the fall/winter 2026 haute couture shows in Paris. The hair and make-up, too, had plenty to offer to beauty aficionados and style watchers. From sparkly eyeliners and lace-printed lips to moonlit skin, here are some stand-out looks models wore at seven designer presentations last week.

Some models at Schiaparelli’s show sported light-reflecting highlights near the hairline, which can be easily achieved using a luminous powder highlighter and a large fluffy brush. The hair was neatly pulled back into a slicked-back bun, drawing attention to their radiant and shimmering foreheads.

Dior

Peter Philips, creative and image director of Dior make-up, put sparkly eyeliners along some of the models’ upper lash lines at the French fashion house’s presentation. The glamorous look, which complemented the ethereal ambience on the runway, takes little time to create and instantly makes the eyes pop. Philips finished it off with defined brows and dewy lips using the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in 001 Pink.

One of the models at the Chanel show wore gold-painted hair with flapper-esque pin curls – a 1920s-inspired style that typically features flattened waves tightly pinned to the side of the head. We love that this look was an homage to classic fairy-tale and storybook themes, specifically leaning into the hairstyle of Goldilocks, the curious little girl who wanders into the three bears’ home.
