Jackson and Westwick married last year and recently welcomed a son, but the Bollywood actress was previously engaged to Panayiotou, a multimillionaire whose family owns hotels across Britain

It’s been a busy couple of months for actress Amy Jackson and Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick. The couple last month welcomed their first child together, a boy named Oscar Alexander Westwick.

Only last summer, the pair tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Italy. A month later, they glammed up once more for an appearance at the Rabanne spring/summer 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week.

Around the same time, Jackson took to Instagram to celebrate her son Andreas’ fifth birthday. Alongside a carousel of photos of herself with him, Jackson wrote, “17.09.2019 … five years and 9 months of loving you ❤️ The day you came into this world, Dre, everything lit up. You’re my little beam of sunshine – so kind, so clever, and funny as anything, there’s never a dull moment when you’re around. You know exactly what you want, and watching you grow into the lil man you are makes me the proudest mummy. I love you more than words can say.”

Jackson shares Andreas with her ex-fiancé, multimillionaire George Panayiotou. And while the actress’ Instagram account reportedly used to be filled with pictures of him, they have since been deleted as she embarks on her happily-ever-after with Westwick. And yes, her son reportedly approves of her husband.

So who is George Panayiotou?

Panayiotou was born into wealth as the son of British property tycoon Andreas Panayiotou, founder of The Ability Group. The older Panayiotou was once nicknamed “king of Shoreditch” for his enormous London property portfolio before he sold it and shifted his focus to hotels. The company reportedly owns the likes of the Dunblane Hydro, Hilton Liverpool, Hilton Cambridge, Hilton London Syon Park and the DoubleTree Aberdeen.

George works for his father’s company as the Head of Business Development, Marketing & Design, per his LinkedIn page. He joined the company at 16 and took on the position of lettings manager at the group’s subsidiary, Angel Lettings. He now focuses on company investment and acquisitions.

He was an apprentice at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club and appeared in long-gone British TV show Desperate Scousewives, says the Daily Mirror.
