Thanks to shows like Succession and Big Little Lies, Alexander Skarsgård has become as much of a household name as his famous father Stellan – but what do we know about his girlfriend, Tuva Novotny?

Stellan Skarsgård, 73, may be his family’s most recognisable actor thanks to his collaborations with Hollywood director Lars von Trier and appearances in films from Mamma Mia! to Dune, but these days his son Alexander Skarsgård has become a household name in his own right too.

From starring in blockbuster films The Legend of Tarzan and Godzilla vs. Kong, as well as hit TV shows Succession, True Blood and Big Little Lies, it’s been hard to escape his on screen presence in recent years. But anyone who has been keeping up with his career rise will also know that he likes to keep his private life away from the spotlight.

And that includes his romantic and family life. In fact, few are aware that the handsome Swede even has a girlfriend – with whom he shares a toddler!

Skarsgård’s partner is the Swedish actress Tuva Novotny, but he’s managed to keep the relationship so low-key that there are barely any photos of them together online – minus a few paparazzi shots here and there.
