In May 2023, Gia graduated from Rutgers University with a criminal justice degree. Proud mama Teresa celebrated her daughter’s milestone with an Instagram post: “I am so proud of my devoted and intelligent daughter, Gia, for graduating [from] a stellar university, a huge milestone to accomplish in life,” she wrote.
In February 2023, Gia landed a job with Kathleen Martínez, an attorney specialising in immigration law, per People. The decision might have been influenced by Gia’s father Joe, who was deported to his native Italy in 2019 after he and Teresa were indicted for fraud in 2013.
With the new show, however, it seems that Gia may be putting law school on hold. “Law will always be my passion, and I’m honestly just having fun right now with my influencer career and just doing things with you guys. So I’m really happy, and I am living out this part of my life right now,” she said.
