Music icon Bruce Springsteen is certainly keeping himself busy. Currently in Europe on his Land of Hope and Dreams tour, he duetted with fellow legend Paul McCartney on stage in Liverpool last Saturday.

He’s also been using the stage to weigh in on the state of America. The “Born in the USA” singer is a staunch Democrat and has spoken at several concerts of his concerns for the direction his country is going in. President Donald Trump has fired back, calling the musician overrated and even posting a doctored video showing Springsteen falling on stage after being struck by a golf ball hit by Trump.

Meanwhile, a documentary called Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band is playing on Hulu and Disney; and a biopic, Deliver Me from Nowhere, is set for release later this year, with The Bear star Jeremy Allen White playing Springsteen.

While the 75-year-old rocker’s fame is showing no signs of waning, his children with fellow E Street Band member Patti Scialfa are staying out of the spotlight. In an interview with The Times, the father of three revealed that his kids weren’t exposed to his fame and “chose their own lives”.

Springsteen and Scialfa’s eldest son followed their footsteps into the music industry, and has even shared the stage with them. He graduated from Boston College and previously worked at Sirius XM, but is now a music programmer for Apple. His mum revealed to Rolling Stone that he makes playlists for the brand.

The youngest Springsteen kid is a Monmouth County Fire Academy alum and works as a New Jersey firefighter. He’s also a family man, giving the “Badlands” singer his first grandchild, Lily Harper, whom he welcomed with his wife Alex Reph.
