The maison’s Cruise 2020 fashion show will be held at the Capitoline Museums

Gucci will hold its Cruise 2020 fashion show at the Capitoline Museums on May 28. The venue offers a look inside the centuries-old history of ancient Rome.

Gucci’s pre-autumn 2019 collection was beautifully photographed in Pompeii, Herculaneum and Selinunte. Time-honoured elements – from architecture to fairy tales – were reimagined in contemporary ways for Gucci’s fashion aesthetics today.

Alongside the Cruise 2020 announcement, Gucci has also unveiled its plan of supporting the restoration project of the facade on the southern side of the Campidoglio through a two-year donation.
