The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics was nothing short of a fashion show, given Milan’s history as one of the world’s fashion capitals – it’s also, of course, home to iconic brands like Prada, Armani, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and more. Running from February 6 to 22, the Olympics featured quite a few fashion highlights, including stunning team kits like Team USA’s Ralph Lauren knits to Team Mongolia’s viral uniforms by Goyol Cashmere.

We also saw quite a few designer brands sported by celebrities and athletes alike.

Here are some of the most iconic fashion moments from the 2026 Winter Olympics, from Mariah Carey’s opening ceremony performance in Roberto Cavalli to figure skaters wearing custom Oscar de la Renta on ice.

Mariah Carey wore a shimmering white Roberto Cavalli gown and plume cape for her performance during the opening ceremony.

Italian model Vittoria Ceretti was the flag bearer for her country at the opening ceremony at the San Siro stadium. She wore an all-white custom Armani Privé gown with long sleeves and a high neck, alongside other models also in Giorgio Armani creations – a tribute to the fashion designer, who passed away last September.

Actress Charlize Theron made a surprise appearance at the opening ceremony, delivering an emotional speech that called for peace. She wore a black Versace gown with cut-outs near the collarbone that resembled a heart.
