The London-based fashion blogger-turned-journalist contributes to The Business of Fashion and more, and loves donning Dior, Prada, Celine and Louis Vuitton

Susanna Lau, better known to her legion of followers as Susie Bubble, got her start as a fashion blogger in 2006 with the launch of her blog, Style Bubble. Since then the London-based Lau has emerged as one of fashion’s most exciting voices, and as a respected journalist who regularly contributes to publications like The Business of Fashion. Here are some of her favourite looks from the past 20 years, in her own words.

At this Lanvin H&M party which was super fun, I love that I was wearing vintage 1930s pyjamas and a Eudon Choi trench coat. We were generally all wearing our own clothes and not being dressed by brands.

I loved the excitement of going to those Phoebe Philo shows for Celine. And even though I’m not that “sleek minimal” Philo archetype, I loved mixing her pieces in my own way, like the Celine primary-hued coat with this vintage Junya [Watanabe] jumper.

I associate fashion weeks with having the best of times with friends, so I love accidentally matching with them. As Tina Leung and I always say, we are “same same but different”. Plus I have had a lot of great Molly Goddard moments during fashion week.
