Style Edit: Tommy Hilfiger’s spring 2026 collection recuts classic American prep

The new looks from Tommy Hilfiger takes classic American prep to Palm Beach, blending varsity polish and relaxed resort style
“For 40 years, I built my brand around endless curiosity, a belief in dreaming big and a love of bringing people together,” says Tommy Hilfiger, who says he has always looked to “creative voices shaping pop culture to help guide that vision”.

In spring 2026, that vision takes the form of “modern prep dressing” – a relaxed yet refined look. New denim silhouettes work across barrels for women and relaxed straight cuts for men, available in lighter washes. As the weather slowly warms, transeasonal layering offers versatility – think baggy trenches and chore coats, but with heritage twists. Rugbies and polos in rich cable textures, with club crests and varsity detail, define the knit and shirting story, while occasion pieces and breezy vacation dressing proudly fly the pool-club palette of red, white and blue. Spring tailoring and breathable, off-duty linen provide “day‑to‑night” and “city‑to‑getaway” wearability.

“I love how wearable it is. It’s classic prep at the core, but the silhouettes feel updated,” says Schwarzenegger, who is one of the prominent faces of Hilfiger’s spring campaign. Adds Champion, fashion model and Schwarzenegger’s spouse: “It’s chic in an effortless way – you can throw it on and instantly feel pulled together, whether you’re layering up or heading somewhere sunny.”
For Hilfiger himself, the spring 2026 story is about “that feeling of opening the doors and creating a moment”, in order to write “the next chapter of the Tommy lifestyle, refreshed for today” – but nonetheless rooted in the heritage he’s built over four decades.

Champion says collaborating on the campaign was a no-brainer: “Ever since Patrick and I first worked with Tommy in his fall 2024 campaign, we’ve been lucky enough to be pulled into his orbit of entertainment and timeless style,” she says. “There’s something about the way he brings people together.”
And that has always been Hilfiger’s talent: creating clothes that keep pace with the lives – and the circles – they’re designed to move in. Spring 2026 is prep that has loosened its collar and a perfect poolside mood board for a season that can take you anywhere: from parties where Lionel Richie is behind the decks, to jumping in a Cadillac for that last-minute resort break.
