Style Edit: Armani/Caffè is a haven of Italian elegance in Hong Kong’s Pacific Place mall

Conceived by Giorgio Armani himself, the city’s first Armani restaurant brings together refined flavours and understated luxury
Navigating the polished halls of Hong Kong’s Pacific Place mall can be at once energising and overwhelming, especially when one is juggling multiple shopping bags. When it comes time to take a breather – whether for a quick bite, a leisurely coffee or an evening cocktail – Armani/Caffè stands out as a serene sanctuary. Welcome to the first Armani restaurant in Hong Kong.

The restaurant, which is nearly 2,700 sq ft, features a focal point in the form of a sleek, rectangular bar finished in satin gold canneté wood that catches the light just so. Surrounding it, a calm palette of blues and greens invites conversation over cappuccinos or cocktails.

The walls, curving gently in metallic frames, are adorned with delicate palm motifs that impart a sense of lightness and openness. Backlit columns, wrapped in Armani/Casa wallpaper with a subtle onyx effect, emit a welcoming glow. Deep-green terrazzo flooring anchors the space, bordered by champagne metalwork that nods to quiet luxury.

The menu incorporates flavours that complement the cafe’s ambience: think Italian favourites with an international edge. Familiar staples are refined, with dishes like risotto Armani Milano, spaghetti al pomodoro and a classic veal Milanese cutlet spotlighting quality, simplicity and a certain dignified flair. Meals can also be as quick as you need them to be: pizzas and salads are on hand for those on a schedule. A range of beverages – from Armani/Dolci teas and infusions to freshly squeezed juices and artful espresso drinks – rounds out the menu.

In essence, Armani/Caffè champions a curated idea of luxury – one that focuses on deft preparation, elegant plating and relaxed indulgence. It’s a stylish gathering place marrying thoughtful design with an elevated dining experience, fitting right in with Hong Kong’s milieu of lavish eateries. The art of Italian dining unfolds with natural grace here – effortlessly embodying Armani’s enduring philosophy of refinement, understated luxury and quiet confidence.
