Celine, Bottega Veneta, Chloé, Fendi, Burberry and others are ushering in the Year of the Horse with festive capsules and limited edition pieces

2026 is the Year of the Horse in the Chinese zodiac, running from February 17, 2026, until February 5, 2027.

Although several luxury brands already draw on the horse motif, others have released dedicated capsule collections and one-off pieces to welcome in the New Year, which is said to bring themes of speed, passion and renewed motivation.

From festive campaigns and inspirations to hot new product launches featuring horse emblems and auspicious red and gold tones, here’s what’s worth browsing - and gifting - this Lunar New Year.

Looking for some Lunar New Year outfit inspo? We’ve got you covered – or rather, Kendall Jenner has. The model was recently seen looking effortlessly glamorous while out and about in Los Angeles, clad in a red-sequin dress topped with a faux fur-and-feather coat from Chanel’s Métiers d’Art 2026 collection, which was shown in December in a disused New York subway station. Jenner accessorised her festive look with a quilted metallic handbag and a pair of slingback heels.

Swiss watchmaker Swatch and one of its former Swatch Art Peace Hotel artists-in-residence, Yu Wenjie, have joined forces to create this vibrant timepiece to commemorate the approaching Year of the Fire Horse. The dial – which also features glow-in-the-dark minute and hour markers – is emblazoned with a graphic of two fierce horses galloping through drifting clouds and surrounded by bright orange flames.
