If you happen to be in Los Angeles this summer, drop by The Beverly Hills Hotel – known as the “Pink Palace” for its bright exterior – to check out an exhibition held in partnership with Fahey Klein Gallery. The show celebrates the work of fashion photographer Arthur Elgort, who over the years has captured celebrities and models such as Kate Moss and Karen Elson for glossies like Vogue. This summer, Paris’ Musée Maillol, located on the chic Left Bank, is devoting an exhibition to the glamorous world of Italian designer Gianni Versace, who was tragically murdered in Miami in 1997. From the influence of his Catholic upbringing and of Greek iconography, to his flamboyant prints and his close links with celebrities like Madonna and Prince, “Gianni Versace Retrospective” offers an in-depth look at the late designer’s work through nearly 450 exceptional pieces. Until September 6

Sant Roch, a luxury sauna that recently opened in the heart of Paris, specialises in contrast therapy, a recovery technique that alternates exposure to ice-cold and very hot temperatures. Founded by the couple behind fitness group Monday Sports Club, Sant Roch offers private self-guided sessions or group classes in an environment where chic design, aromatherapy and cool playlists contribute to the all-round sensory experience.
