Meet Christopher Briney, the actor who plays Conrad Fisher in The Summer I Turned Pretty

The Summer I Turned Pretty – Prime Video’s hit show following the love life of Isabel “Belly” Conklin, played by Lola Tung – is back for a third and final run.

While filming the last season of the show, the 27-year-old heartthrob fully immersed himself in Fisher’s world to deliver a stand-out performance. Co-stars Lola Tung and Gavin Casalegno even described his on-set intensity as an impressive case of method acting during an interview with People magazine.

Briney has been busy. In June, he joined Ben Stiller’s daughter Ella Stiller and Chiara Aurelia on stage to star in Julia Randall’s off-Broadway production Dilaria, making his professional theatre debut, according to Teen Vogue.

He starred in his first film, Dalíland, sharing the screen with Hollywood veteran Ben Kingsley in 2022. Two years later, he took on the role of the endearing Aaron Samuels in the musical remake of Mean Girls – a role he initially turned down, only to reconsider after learning that he would not have to sing, he told GQ.
