Kendall was born in Sydney to a Brazilian mother who works as a dental nurse, and a New Zealand-born father who has his own construction business, according to British Vogue. Her parents have separated now, per Vogue Australia, but she was brought up in Australia’s Narrabeen and Wagga Wagga, with some time spent in her mum’s home city, Rio de Janeiro, where she learned Portuguese. She has two brothers.
“I’ve kind of always been in a social environment,” she told Vogue Australia.
She enjoys surfing and once aspired to be a doctor.
