Everything you need to know about Rhea Seehorn, who plays Carol in Apple TV+ show Pluribus

Seehorn, who’s best known for Better Call Saul, was born in Virginia and raised by a dad who worked in counter-intelligence
The first two episodes of the brand-new sci-fi thriller from Vince Gilligan, aka the creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, premiered on November 7, and it is already the second most-watched show on Apple TV+.
With Rhea Seehorn – best known as the brilliant and sharp Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul – playing the lead, the show turns toxic optimism into its central crisis: humanity is hit by an alien-induced pandemic that forces endless happiness, and only a cynical romance writer (Seehorn’s character Carol Sturka) seems immune.

Gilligan told Variety that he wrote Sturka with Seehorn in mind. The 53-year-old actress has described her character as an “emotional hot mess” with anger issues.
While you wait for the next episodes of Pluribus, here’s everything you need to know about Rhea Seehorn.
What’s Rhea Seehorn’s background?

Rhea Seehorn, born Deborah Rhea Seehorn, hails from Norfolk, Virginia, where she was born to Marlene and Frederick Seehorn. Her father, who served in the Vietnam war, later worked in counter-intelligence, according to The New York Times. He was also an artist, like her grandmother, per the Wall Street Journal. Seehorn’s mother, on the other hand, did musical theatre.
