Meet Katherine LaNasa, who plays Dana in The Pitt and just won a Critics’ Choice Television Award

The Emmy winner from the HBO Max show starring Noah Wyle, drew inspiration for her role from a ‘really kick-ass’ aunt and battled cancer right before auditioning
Wyle, who plays Dr Michael Robinavitch and co-executive produces the show, and Katherine LaNasa, whose character Dana Evans is a charge nurse, won the same awards in the best actor and best supporting actress categories. Needless to say, fans are overjoyed to see both characters on their screens again.

Interestingly, Wyle and LaNasa previously co-starred in another beloved medical show, ER, where the former played medical student John Carter, and the latter was Janet Wilco in one episode.
