Meet Charlie Evans, who plays Jeremy – murdered US president Cal Bradford’s son – in Paradise

The Aussie-born actor comes from a musical family and got his break in Leave the World Behind starring Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke

Notably, the latest instalment – which premiered on February 23 – introduces a new character called Annie Clay, played by series newcomer Shailene Woodley. It is also expanding the role of another character, the late president’s rebellious young son, Jeremy Bradford (played by Charlie Evans), who is determined to “blow the f***in’ doors [of the bunker] open”, as Jeremy says in the show.
Here’s everything to know about Charlie Evans.
What’s his background?

Evans was born on January 1, 2004. He hails from Byron Bay, Australia, but has lived in Los Angeles since he was 10. “America takes some adjustment for a kid from the rainforest in Australia,” he told culture magazine Numéro Netherlands, explaining, “It’s competitive here, and you need to work hard, but it’s always a privilege to experience a new culture and learn another way of seeing and being in the world.”
Evans’ parents are musicians, and he grew up being influenced by their work ethic. “My parents are both very creative and surrounded me with instruments and books from the day I was born,” he recalled to Numéro Netherlands.
