Rafael Olarra – not to be mistaken for the Chilean former footballer of the same name – hails from Buenos Aires. His exact age is unclear, but he is said to be in his forties. According to the Latin Post, Olarra grew up in Gualeguaychú, Argentina. He pursued art studies at Colegio San Martín de Tours, in Buenos Aires, per Hello! magazine. He is a trained painter, photographer and sculptor, and studied film art direction at the Universidad del Cine, also in Buenos Aires.
