The 22-year-old – whose acting journey began with a Walmart trip – plays the daughter of Jon Hamm’s character in the Apple TV series

Apple TV’s dramedy Your Friends & Neighbors starring Jon Hamm returned for its second season on April 3. The show follows Hamm’s character Andrew “Coop” Cooper, a divorced former hedge fund manager who becomes unemployed and starts robbing his ultrawealthy neighbours to maintain his lavish lifestyle.

In the show’s second season, we see actress Isabel Gravitt’s character Tori, Coop’s daughter with his ex-wife Mel (Amanda Peet), come more into focus. Tori is depicted as a rebellious teenager whose decision to decline her acceptance to Princeton University sends Mel spiralling.

Here’s everything to know about the up-and-coming actress.

She discovered acting at the age of seven

Born in August 2003, Gravitt stumbled into acting accidentally when the then seven-year-old was shopping at Walmart with her parents, and they came across a booth for an acting school. Hoping to help their daughter overcome her shyness, Gravitt’s parents enrolled her into acting classes.

“I immediately was like, ‘This is what I want to do for the rest of my life,’” she told Glamour in an interview last year. “I was obsessed with memorising lines and doing monologues and the drama of it all. I ended up falling in love with it.”
