Here’s everything you need to know about 26-year-old Homer Gere.
What’s the story behind Homer James Jigme Gere’s name?

Homer James Jigme Gere’s name honours both his parents’ fathers: Homer Gere and James Lowell, per People. Jigme, meanwhile, is of Tibetan origin and means “fearless” – a nod to Richard’s Buddhist faith.
Richard and actress Carey Lowell had been dating for four years when they welcomed Homer. They got married in 2002 but separated in 2013, finalising their divorce in 2016.
He went to an Ivy League school

Homer Gere graduated from Brown University in 2024, as seen on his Instagram, with a bachelor of arts in psychology and visual arts. He also served as a research assistant in the Therapeutic Neuroscience Lab of the university’s School of Public Health. Previously, he attended Hackley School in New York.
