The actor-singer made his screen debut in a Julia Roberts film, appeared in The Walking Dead and Chicago Fire … and continues to work as a waiter in the West Village

Directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, and co-written by Shawn Wayans and Marlon Wayans, the Scary Movie franchise premiered its first film in 2000 and became a huge pop-culture phenomenon.

The horror spoof franchise has now returned with its sixth instalment. Premiering on June 5, the film has already broken its own franchise record by earning a staggering US$105 million during its first global opening weekend.

The film sees the return of many major cast members including Anna Faris, Regina Hall and the Wayans Brothers. But several new cast members appear alongside these familiar faces too – including actor Cameron Scott Roberts, who plays the boyfriend of Sara (Olivia Rose Keegan).

How did Cameron Scott Roberts get into acting?

Roberts graduated from the Theatre School at DePaul University in 2019. He made his on-screen acting debut in the 2018 psychological thriller Ben Is Back starring Julia Roberts, Lucas Hedges and Courtney B. Vance.

Since then, he has had recurring roles in TV shows such as The Walking Dead and Chicago Fire.

He also works as a waiter
