It’s a big year for Jacob Batalon. Not only did the Filipino-American actor reprise his role as the fan-favourite Ned Leeds in Marvel’s latest film Spider-Man: Brand New Day – which at the time of writing has grossed over US$932 million worldwide – but he also let slip that he had married Veronica Leahov when he referred to her as his “wife” during an interview with Heart.
“My wife calls me big dog. She doesn’t. I wish she did,” Batalon, 29, joked in the interview alongside his co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya, who also quietly tied the knot earlier this year.

What does Veronica Leahov do?
Veronica Leahov hails from Moldova in Eastern Europe. According to People, Leahov lived in Belgium for several years before moving to New York City to earn her master’s degree in interior design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and graduated in 2022.
Per her personal website, her work “blends minimalist architecture with warm materials, drawing inspiration from European interiors, New York architecture and the quiet elegance of heritage design”.
