Style according to ... iconic designer Anna Sui, who made boho cool

The American fashion designer, beloved for her signature rock ’n’ roll style, reveals her favourite things, from hotels to style icons
Known for her boho-chic aesthetic and love for vintage fashion, Anna Sui is a New York icon. The Detroit native has called the city home since the 1970s, when she studied at Parsons School of Design and met one of her long-time friends, photographer Steven Meisel. Sui established her eponymous label in 1981, eventually expanding into beauty and fragrance.

This month, the designer is releasing a book, The Nineties x Anna Sui, paying homage to that pivotal decade in her career. Here, she shares her favourite finds from Manhattan and beyond.
