Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated docuseries Taylor Swift: The End of an Era has landed on Disney+, and it is every bit as emotional and inspiring as fans expected it to be, if not more. The series chronicles the epic saga that was Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, with behind-the-scenes footage, special interviews and more. Fans get a rare glimpse into the Grammy winner’s mind as she takes the tour from conception to fruition.

In the docuseries, Swift sheds light on how the viral choreography for the Eras Tour came about. She revealed that after reaching out to her friend, actress Emma Stone, for advice, the La La Land star recommended choreographer Mandy Moore as the “one person that needs to be on [her] list”.

Stone worked with Swift’s ex, Joe Alwyn, in The Favourite (2018) while the pop star and the actor were dating. They called things off in 2023, but the “Fortnight” songstress’ friendship with Stone seems to be going strong.

So, who is Mandy Moore, who also choreographed the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia”?

Mandy Moore, not to be confused with the This Is Us actress, hails from Summit County, Colorado. Her parents were theatre actors, and her mother also directed plays, she told The New York Times.

Moore gravitated to dance at a young age. “Every time there was music on, I was doing a solo performance for my parents,” she told the Oklahoma arts publication Artdesk. Moore started formal dance training at the age of eight, learning ballet and tap dancing before taking up breakdancing. She left home for Los Angeles in 1994.
