Bulgari’s Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT Automatic brings riches in the form of superb Swiss engineering and stunning Italian design. And it touches the limits of thinness in movements for an automatic with GMT function.
“It is truly a revolution of design and technology,” says Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari.
At 3.3mm, Calibre BVL 318 is an industry first. As a jeweller, the Bulgari name is well known but this achievement cements its position as a leader in haute horlogerie.
The GMT function is accessible by a push-button at 9 o’clock, with a 24-hour home time sub-counter indicating day or night at 3 o’clock.
The dial is easy to read, though holding a wealth of information, while the shape of the 42mm (1.7in) case, neither round nor square, gives the watch a unique character.
