Released in Hong Kong on August 14, the film is still running in theatres.

The film’s massive popularity is rooted in the success of the original manga, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, first released in 2016. Written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge, it quickly became one of the bestselling titles in Japan.
