3 more suspects arrested over murder of businessman in Hong Kong bar fight

Hong Kong police have arrested three more suspects in connection with the death of a 32-year-old entrepreneur following a bar fight on July 26, with the murder case triggering a crackdown on triad-related activities in western Kowloon.
The arrests were made as part of an investigation into the murder of Issac Yeung at an upstairs bar on Cameron Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, bringing the total number of suspects up to 12.
Superintendent Billy Ching Chi-yan said on Sunday that the victim died on July 31, five days after receiving treatment at the intensive care unit of Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
“The case has been reclassified as murder,” he said.
Among the 12 people arrested, six had already been charged, Ching added.
The nine suspects apprehended in the initial wave of arrests comprised six men and three women, aged 24 to 46.
