The South China Morning Post’s editorial video team has won two major international awards presented by a US visual arts academy.

The SCMP film Rainbow’s End: Where’s home for Manila’s Golden Gays won gold for best general video – diversity, equity and inclusion at the W3 Awards, presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts in the United States.

The 23-minute short documentary by supervising video producer Jayson Albano shows how a group of elderly LGBTQ men living in the Philippine capital perform drag shows to raise funds to build a retirement home, where they can live out their golden years.
