HK$200 million Mark Six draw to be split across 5 winning bets
‘I hope there is good fortune in the new year,’ one resident says ahead of Saturday night’s draw

The first prize for the Year of the Horse’s Mark Six snowball draw on Saturday is set to be split across five winning bets, with each garnering a payout of about HK$42.2 million (US$5.4 million).
The total turnover for the draw reached HK$402.3 million – 6.45 times the total turnover of the HK$62.4 million recorded for the previous draw earlier this week. This lottery’s HK$200 million first prize fund is the highest in its history.
The winning numbers were 2, 18, 34, 35, 37 and 49, with 33 being the special number.
Five winning units shared the first prize, with each netting about HK$42.2 million. The second prize will be spread across 13.5 winning units, with each garnering around HK$1.1 million. The third prize had 641.5 winning units, with each to receive HK$63,650.
Earlier on Saturday, snaking queues formed at betting branches across Hong Kong as residents snapped up tickets for the draw.
Resident Wong Chun-hung, who works in sales and marketing, said he spent HK$20 on bets using numbers randomly generated by the system.
“I hope there is good fortune in the new year,” he said. “Good luck can come at any time.”
