China grandma, 101, stays up late to watch TV, enjoys snacks, shares longevity secret
Centenarian captures hearts of many by embracing a ‘reverse lifestyle’ – watching TV until 2am and naturally waking up around 10am

A 101-year-old Chinese grandmother has dazzled and inspired many by embracing a “reverse lifestyle”, staying up late to watch TV and snacking freely, yet still leading a healthy life, complete with all her natural teeth.
Jiang Yueqin hails from Wenzhou, Zhejiang province in southeastern China, and is a proud mother of seven.
In her youth, she turned down job opportunities at a state-owned enterprise to become a full-time housewife, dedicating herself to raising her children.
Recently, she has gained online fame for her “reverse daily routine,” which involves staying up until 2am every night watching TV and naturally waking around 10am the following morning.
After freshening up, the first thing she enjoys is a strong cup of green tea.
“My mum is just like a young person; she’s a true night owl! Despite her late nights, her sleep quality is excellent. She falls asleep within minutes of lying down. This routine only developed over the past two years,” shared her daughter, Yao Songping.
