Wish You Were Here

Curated by New York-based art adviser Jie Xia, this group show looks at how paradise is imagined and consumed. With works by 15 post-war and contemporary artists, it evokes summer with scenes revolving around the beach, oceans and travel, filtered through nostalgia and longing. Artists featured include Vik Muniz, Enoc Perez, Gerhard Richter and Tseng Kwong-chi.

Art Actions | Our Youth Our Future

Co-presented by HART Haus and rén, this show highlights six emerging artists – Daniel Roibal, Keisuke Azuma, Sin U Lam and 2024 HART awardees Elsa Ngai, Kwok Wah-san and Kelly Kwok. Their paintings and installations interrogate transnational training, memory and place as they chart the shift from art school to a professional career.

Aura Within

Hauser & Wirth’s summer group show gathers artists who work with Asian histories and diasporic stories. Curated by Anqi Li with support from partner galleries, “Aura Within” cites the body as a starting point of memory, identity and perception. The works span generations and geographies, from Luis Chan’s ink experiments to Nicole Coson’s container-door canvases rooted in the Filipino experience and Bharti Kher’s bindi panels. The exhibition asks where nature, city and our spiritual homes overlap.

Worlds Within: Art as Refuge

This show brings together works by Zao Wou-Ki, Fernando Zóbel, Le Pho and Kang Myonghi, artists shaped in different ways by exile, migration and reinvention. The show marks Zóbel’s first exhibition in Hong Kong and a rare survey of Le Pho’s work across major periods. Reflecting on identity and belonging, the artworks convey how contemporary Asian artists have expanded modern art’s conversation.
