A new exhibition at M+ features over 200 works by Cantonese artists as the Hong Kong-based museum addresses the region’s lineage and history.


Hong Kong’s ‘big 3’ Chinese art collections all featuring in 1 new exhibition

“The Pride of Hong Kong: Three Preeminent Collections of Ancient Paintings and Calligraphies” exhibition presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, jointly organised by the Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) and the Art Museum of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), held at HKMoA, Tsim Sha Tsui. The exhibition features Hong Kong’s three preeminent collections: Xubaizhai, established by the late local renowned collector Low Chuck-tiew, the Chih Lo Lou by Ho Iu-kwong, and the Bei Shan Tang by Lee Jung-sen, showcasing a selection of over 90 sets of masterpieces spanning from the Tang dynasty to the Qing. 10JUN25 SCMP / Nora Tam
