Hong Kong Cricket Sixes organisers pledge to deliver ‘bigger and better’ tournament in 2026
City cricket chiefs confirm next edition will be staged at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground over three days from October 30

City cricket chiefs have pledged to deliver a “bigger and better” Hong Kong Cricket Sixes after they confirmed the popular tournament will be staged at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground from October 30 to November 1 this year.
The venue was filled to its 2,720 capacity on all three days last year, as Pakistan captured a record-breaking sixth title.
Burji Shroff, the chairman of Cricket Hong Kong, China (CHKC), called the 2025 Sixes “the best we’ve had”, but he said that this year his organisation was “committed to delivering an even bigger and better experience for players, fans and partners”.
“The tournament has a proud legacy and continues to grow in stature with each edition,” Shroff said.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another unforgettable weekend of cricket.”

Launched in 1992, the Sixes was held for six straight years until 1997, then again for 12 consecutive years from 2001. Mothballed after 2012, other than a standalone 2017 edition, it was revived in 2024, moving from its old Kowloon Cricket Club home to its current location.
