We’re well and truly in the business end of the football season with every match worth that little bit more.

In the English Premier League, at least, there’s not too much still undecided but pressure does funny things to you.

So let’s start our Tuesday night round-up with title challengers Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Fulham at the Emirates.

Gunners still fighting

Bukayo Saka scored just seven minutes into his return to put Mikel Arteta’s side 2-0 ahead after Mikel Merino’s first-half opener before Rodrigo Munoz pulled one back in stoppage time.

However, there was more bad news for Arsenal as influential defender Gabriel had to be substituted after just 16 minutes through injury.

The result leaves the Gunners nine points adrift of Liverpool, whose game in hand sees them welcome derby rivals Everton to Anfield at 3am on Thursday, Hong Kong time.

Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest fans can surely start preparing for the Champions League now, as they earned yet another three points with a 1-0 win over Manchester United.

Former Red Devil Anthony Elanga ran from his own box on five minutes to slot past Andre Onana for the game’s only goal.
