Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr teammates on Saturday accelerated preparations for their Saudi Super Cup campaign in Hong Kong by holding a training session at the city’s Football Training Centre.

Footage obtained by the Post showed Portuguese attacker Ronaldo and his colleagues being put through their paces on Saturday morning on sun-drenched pitches in Tseung Kwan O, at the centre owned by the Football Association of Hong Kong, China.

Al-Nassr posted videos on their social media accounts of their players, including the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star Ronaldo, training at the same location on Friday.

Following their arrival in the city amid plenty of fanfare on Thursday, Al-Nassr had held a sodden first session as Tropical Storm Podul raged while they trained in Kowloon Tong, but they were greeted by much brighter conditions on Saturday.

The club also confirmed their completion of the signing from Bayern Munich of Kingsley Coman, a Champions League winner and 2022 World Cup finalist with France, who has joined his new colleagues in Hong Kong.

Third-place finishers in last season’s Saudi Pro League, Al-Nassr will face domestic champions Al-Ittihad in the first Super Cup semi-final at Hong Kong Stadium on Tuesday.
