Asian Tour: Kho ‘just having fun’, puts himself in contention for title charge in Korea
Taichi Kho shoots third round 66 to move to 12 under at Shinhan Donghae Open, two strokes adrift of leader Kazuki Higa

Taichi Kho put himself in contention heading into the final round of the Shinhan Donghae Open, shooting a 66 on Saturday to move into a tie for third in Korea.
The Hongkonger’s six-under-par effort left him two shots adrift of leader Kazuki Higa, who carded a 65 to sit on 14 under, with Asian Tour order of merit leader Scott Vincent alone in second, a stroke back.
In the past, Kho has struggled in Korea, but came into this week at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club on the back of a second-place finish at the Mandiri Indonesia Open.
A run of four birdies in his closing five holes, with a bogey at the par-4 16th the single blip on his card, came on a day when he only missed three greens in regulation.
The key, he said after the round, was focusing on having fun, “being in the present” and knowing that “my good golf is really good”.

“So, just focus on those things and trying to find the joy in each shot, and I’m really just focused on myself right now,” Kho added.
