In-form Minjee Lee has major golf dreams ahead but aims to ‘stay in the present’
The Australian, who had a successful 2025, gets her season under way next week at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore

Minjee Lee begins her 12th season on the LPGA Tour next week reinvigorated by the prospect of facing opponents who seemingly get ever younger and by a determination to “stay in the present”.
After a couple of difficult years, the Australian had quite the 2025, winning her third major title at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and finishing inside the top 10 eight times, earning herself US$3.9 million in the process.
She gets her 2026 campaign under way at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore, with a place in the hall of fame and a potential career grand slam still high on the list of priorities.
The 29-year-old is halfway to the 27 points she needs for the former, and with two points available for winning a major, there is a little extra motivation in the chase of the two that still elude her: the Chevron Championship and AIG Women’s Open.

“The LPGA fields and just the fields in general, the talent is so strong now,” Lee said. “And I think our tour has not been in a better place. It’s such a great competition, and it excites me to be able to play against the best and be in that space. And I just feel like it just motivates me to keep on going.
